lookupatthesky asked: You keep liking Fringe posts when I reblog them but I never see you talking about it! What are your thoughts and most importantly why can't I read any kovsky Fringe fic?!

Oh man, Fringe! I have been watching it casually for awhile now, and it has been sneaking up on me lately how much I weirdly look forward to it every week. It’s all about Olivia for me, and I have almost zero interest in Peter and Walter, while finding Olivia/Lincoln pretty adorbs, so I would like to thank you for your excellently-chosen reblogs, sir.

The thing about it, though, is that I have been screwed over by too many genre shows and will never trust again! So I put ZERO mental effort into any conspiracy/mytharc kinds of stuff, and just watch it for the pretty people and for the Statue of Liberty being the wrong color and stuff like that. (I LOVE the parallel universe stuff and alternate timeline stuff, like, so very hard, and am so glad they moved away from the monster-of-the-week stuff. But my brain actively resists, like, paying close attention to details or plotlines, even though those are kind of my favorite? I don’t know, can’t explain it.) Anyway, but putting no mental effort into it makes me feel like I shouldn’t talk about it, haha, because obviously my opinions are very ill-informed. Same goes for fic — like, I can’t even remember what happened in what universe and what timeline to what version of Olivia, so trying to straighten any of that out to write anything is pretty impossible. BUT! I have been thinking lately about a rewatch and maybe getting more actively into it, so you never know!

In conclusion, my thoughts on Fringe are: I watch it lazily, I love Olivia and Astrid, Lincoln’s face is the most cutest, and if anyone tries to make me care about any more boring father-son issues I will fall asleep.
